The Story Behind the OWWA Identity

A project feature on building an institutional identity around care, protection, and homecoming.

The OWWA identity project translated a public institution’s responsibility into a symbol of welcome and protection. Its central emblem, Pagyakap sa Inang Bayan, frames homecoming as an embrace: a human idea expressed through a disciplined institutional system.

The published project feature traces the identity’s symbolism, colour choices, and application. It also records the collaborative authorship of Ravve Jay Prevendido and Mherie Prevendido through Through The Glass Creatives Global.

For Ravve, the project demonstrates that public-sector identity is not merely a logo exercise. It is an act of clarification: making an institution’s purpose recognisable to the people it exists to serve.
